Denn während des Prozesses des Umlernens habe ich festgestellt, dass die Fähigkeit zum freien und selbstbestimmten Denken und Handeln heute kein "kann" mehr, sondern für jeden zu einem "muss" geworden ist. Der Fortbestand und die Weiterentwicklung unserer freien demokratischen Gesellschaft hängen davon ab.
